Texas Pharmacy Museum Opened in 1998, the Texas Pharmacy Museum (TPM) is the largest museum in the Lone Star State specializing in the collection, preservation, research, and exhibition of the history of pharmacy. Of the more than 140 pharmacy museums in the U.S., the TPM is one of only 18 to be affiliated with a college or school of pharmacy and it is a unique educational resource. Visitors to the museum - located in the basement of the School of Pharmacy (SOP) building on the TTUHSC campus in Amarillo - you will see a variety of items, including a restored early-20th century pharmacy, tools of the trade, pharmacy products and delivery systems, pharmacy-related literature and art, sideline objects and a room recognizing and honoring Texas practitioners. More than 150 donors from 34 Texas communities and six other states have donated artifacts and other materials to the museum. To date, TPM's growing collection numbers more than 12,000 items. 1300 Coulter Amarillo, TX 79106 Phone: 806.356.4000
