  • This internationally-known outdoor musical drama has been performed since 1965 in majestic Palo Duro Canyon State Park. A talented cast reaches into the past to reveal the struggles, strengths, celebrations, burials, and politics of the early settlers, cowboys and Native Americans. The best attended outdoor musical drama in the U.S., TEXAS is performed Tuesday through Sunday from early June through mid-August. Ticket prices range from $12.95 to $30.95 (plus fees; military, group, and senior discounts available), varying with the seat location and date of the show. Child: $12.95 - $26.95 Adult: $16.95 - $30.95 Chuckwagon BBQ from Feldman's Wrong Way Diner may be purchased before the show; $9 for children and $16 for adults. Please ask for details when purchasing tickets. The show begins at 8:30 P.M. and lasts about two hours. Backstage tours are offered for $5 a person before the show. Please ask for details.
