Celebrate the history of the iconic Mother Road at the Texas Route 66 Festival. This 10-day event pays homage to the legendary highway with car shows, live music, cattle drives, and more. 

One of the festival's highlights is the Texas Route 66 Festival Finale presented by Amarillo National Bank on June 14, 2025, in the heart of Amarillo’s Route 66 Historic District, which brings the celebration to an exciting close with live performances, fashion show, the Miss Texas 66 Pin-Up Pageant, activations, vendors, and the Texas 66 Hot Dog Eating Contest. 

 

Coors Cowboy Club Cattle Drive & Parade (June 7, 2025)

This annual tradition kicks off the Coors Cowboy Club Ranch Rodeo. Watch as 60 Texas Longhorns parade through Downtown Amarillo, a nod to Amarillo’s rich ranching heritage. In the past two years, the event has become even more exciting with the addition of classic cars and other unique floats as part of the Texas Route 66 Festival.

Hoodoo Mural Festival (September 2025)
