Find Your Grind at Amarillo Coffee Shops

The 806 Coffee & Lounge

806 Coffee & Lounge

In 2007, The 806 Coffee & Lounge opened its doors in the historic Route 66 district with the best of local brew and art. Offering coffee, espresso, tea, beers, wine, and vegan / vegetarian foods, the 806 hosts Amarillo’s longest running Open Mic Night and traveling music acts from around the world! Grab a friend, a board game, and enjoy the eclectic vibe - and yes, the art you see on the walls is for sale!

Palace Coffee

Palace Coffee Collage

The dream of a true “third place,” somewhere to enjoy your loved ones, a new friend, or a kind stranger, encouraged Patrick and Krystal Burns to build the iconic Palace Coffee. Not your average coffee stop, Palace Coffee fosters meaningful connections and serves their community – from assisting other coffee shops in their quest to caffeination to supporting local charities, Palace is a place for all. Explore seasonal drinks, cult classics, and of course, incredible branded merchandise!

Roasters

Locally owned and a fan favorite since 1992, Roaster’s is one of the yellow’s city’s staples. With multiple drive thru and sit-in locations (hello free WiFi!), Roasters takes great coffee and beverages to the next level – the personal one! The team at Roaster’s believes that “life is the purpose” and “coffee is the fuel,” to which we couldn’t agree more. Our faves? An Iced Poor Man, a Premium COD (available Thursday and Saturday), or a Roasters Teaser!

Cliffside Coffee

All coffee styles are represented in the Amarillo coffee scene and Cliffside Coffee takes their unique perspective to the max. Looking to Mahatma Ghandi’s famous quote, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others,” Jpaul and Mackenzie Dodson took their experiences in Seattle, Washington and Phoenix, Arizona to create a drive-thru coffee stand like none other. If you’re a frequent traveler through Amarillo, grab a punch card for your next visit!

Sip & Pop with Tea & Boba Shops

Golden Rose Tea Room

A group of six women dressed in elegant and vintage-inspired outfits pose together in front of a floral wall backdrop with a sign reading "The Golden Rose Tea Room." They are smiling and standing close together in a warmly lit tea room setting. The background features a framed picture of a teapot, a floral-upholstered chair, and a display table with accessories and trinkets.

The Golden Rose Tea Room, your favorite people, and delicious sweets and savories.. we don’t think you’ll want to leave! Experience the royal treatment with their high tea service as you explore black, blended black, green, white, herbal, and herbal berry teas and quality time with your loved ones. Not sure which tea or sweets to choose? Owners Jamie and Valerie Roberson have curated bi-weekly rotating menus that are fit for all! Think you’ll miss high tea? Don’t worry, you can stop in for their lunch menu!

When you’re a passionate water enthusiast, a stand-alone water and tea stand is an oasis in our western desert! Using Ultra-Premium Vapor Distillation to purify water, ice, and tea products, Waterstill reaches the highest purity level of water available (99.9% pure!). While you may not have experienced a sweet tea stop outside of our neck of the woods, the team at Waterstill has a menu of flavored teas that will bring your taste buds to heaven! As a personal favorite, ask for a half sweet / half unsweet Mint tea. Trust us, you’ve never had your thirst quenched like this!

Leaf & Bubble

A Texas twist on Taiwanese tea beverages, Leaf & Bubble started with a mutual love for boba between two gals at a friend’s birthday dinner in 2018. With love placed into creativiTEA, positiviTEA, and communiTEA, your experience will float you along a river of cold brew, match drinks, milk tea, smoothies, and even acai bowls!
