The Amarillo Convention & Visitors Bureau has promoted two staff members on the Convention Sales Staff.
Emilea White is now Senior Sales Manager. With many years of convention sales experience at the CVC, White has developed a reputation as a friendly go-getter for
Amarillo. Her clients routinely describe her as a super first contact for Amarillo. She now handles all the association clients for Amarillo and will visit Austin regularly to be involved in state association business. She handled the social, military, education, religious and fraternal markets (SMERF) for the office.
Ashley Gutierrez is now Sales Manager. Recently hired as a Sales Assistant, it was quickly obvious to management that she has the skills to handle a Sales Manager position. Gutierrez will cover the SMERF market for the office. She graduated from Randall H.S. and attended Texas Tech University.

With so much happening in Amarillo, from downtown development to hotel construction across the city to exciting new options among our attractions, we need the best people we can find to promote the Amarillo story.
