The Amarillo Venom has been working alongside the Amarillo CVC, News Channel 10 and Telemundo and other local businesses and media outlets in effort to promote this monumental matchup.
The schedule of events that will take place leading up to the game will start with the Venom and the all-star team visiting area schools on Mar. 21. On Mar. 22, both squads will make public appearances at the Westgate Mall and other sponsors along with a media dinner at 6 p.m.
The LEXFA all-star team is comprised of 25 players, five coaches, and five individuals on staff who will come into Amarillo from Mexico City.
The Amarillo Venom is a proud member of the Lone Star Football League and is riding off its second consecutive LSFL Championship in a thrilling 70-69 victory over the Laredo Rattlesnakes. The Venom openly embraces the Hispanic culture of the Texas Panhandle, with events such as the Los Venom game.
Scheduled in between their matchup with the New Mexico Stars in Rio Rancho on Mar. 14 and a home date against former Venom quarterback Nate Davis-led Rio Grande Valley Sol on Mar. 29, the Venom will have their hands full of tough competition.
