What- It is the largest and oldest timed film competition.
Cities around the world will be sponsoring their own 48 Hour Film project.
Registration fee is $125/filmmaking team.

Where- In and around Amarillo
Why- To create a complete film, from concept through production to post-production in a 48-hour period. All registrants are assigned a genre, character, prop and dialogue to be included in their film. This timed project puts the emphasis on a filmmaker's creativity and teamwork. It encourages filmmakers, and wanna-be filmmakers, to get out and make movies.
How- All entries are screened on August 26 at the Branding Iron Theater at West Texas A&M University. First screening is at 7 pm and second screening is at 9 pm
Awards presentation for judged entries will be Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2014 at the Grand Plaza of the Amarillo Civic Center Complex.
Winners in the Amarillo 48 Hour Film Project will be included in national 48 Hour Film Project competition.
The Amarillo 48 Hour Film Project is supported by the Amarillo Film Commission.
