Hike Lighthouse Trail in Palo Duro Canyon State Park
This famous trail is approximately 6 miles. It is mostly flat with a climb up some slightly steep rocks & gravel to give you a majestic view near the 3-mile mark.
Hike CCC Trail in Palo Duro Canyon
Although only a 3 mile out & back trail, it is a much steeper hike. You can choose to begin the CCC Trail at the bottom of the canyon floor & climb up to the canyon rim or reverse, there is parking at the top and bottom available.
Visit Cadillac Ranch
Drop into the famous Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo to spray paint this public art installation that encourages you to be apart of the art. But before heading to Cadillac Ranch grab a few cans of spray paint at a local hardware store.
