  • The Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum is the largest history museum in Texas. It's so big, you can cover more than 26,000 square miles of Texas, all under one roof. The museum is located 15 minutes south of Amarillo on the campus of West Texas A&M University in Canyon, TX. Summer museum (June-August) hours are Monday-Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm. Sundays 1-6pm Winner museum hours (September-May) are Tuesday-Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm. Admission is- $12.50 - Adults $10 - Seniors 65+ & Military $9 - Groups over 20 $6 - Children (4-12) $3 - Children's Groups Free - Members and children under 4 Free - West Texas A&M University Faculty, Staff and Students with Buff Gold Card We are a Blue Star Museum.
