Vendor Set-Up / Tear Down

Check-In Instructions

  • Vendors will be checked in upon entry at 5th & Tennessee. Barricades will already be in place and you will be unable to enter through another street
  • Check-in begins at 8 AM and all vendors must be checked in by 9:30 AM
  • Check-in will be under the business name you provided at sign-up

 

Set-up Instructions

  • Vendor set up begins at 8 AM. Please arrive on time to ensure a smooth setup process. No vehicles will be allowed in before 8 AM or after 9:30 AM
  • Booths MUST be set up and ready for operation by 10:30 AM
  • Bring your own tents, tables, and chairs. These items will not be provided
    • Tents must be weighted down without the use of stakes as vendors will be set on asphalt
    • All vendor trailers must operate unhooked
  • As you are unloading, keep vehicles off to the side to allow space for other vendors to pass
  • All vehicles must exit the festival area by 10 AM
  • Exit through 5th & Florida

 

Food Vendors

  • Food vendors must be set and ready for inspection by 10 AM
  • All food trailers must operate "unhooked"

 

Breakdown Instructions

  • Breakdown begins at 6:30 PM
  • Vehicles will not be allowed on 6th Street until the festival area is clear* 
  • Breakdown must be completed promptly after the event ends
  • Leave your booth space clean
  • Do not drive down the festival area until the street is clear and it is safe for traffic to pass

 

Vendor Parking
Parking will be first come first served at the San Jacinto Elementary parking lot off of South Carolina. 

Additional parking is offered at:

  • (West) American Council of the Blind | 403 S. Western 
  • (East) Amarillo Senior Citizens Association | 2404 SW 6th Ave.

Shuttle Buses will be running to and from the festival in 10-minute increments from 11 AM - 7 PM

 

Vendor Guidelines

  • Booths must be visually appealing and professional
  • No open flames or hazardous materials allowed
  • All products must comply with local laws and regulations
  • Vendors must not sell copyrighted material that they do not have permission for

  • 10:45 AM | Shuttles to the Festival Begin | Park and Ride the Shuttle Here
  • 11 AM - 1 PM | Na'Cho Daddy's Wrestling: Super Kicks on Route 66 | Cornholio Parking Lot (6th & Kentucky)
  • 11 AM - 7 PM | TX RT 66 Classic Car Show 
  • 11 AM - 7 PM | Main Stage Entertainment 
  • TBD | Last Call for Shuttles

 

Security 
Officers will be present, but vendors are responsible for securing their booths and belongings. If you are having an issue at your booth, please flag down an officer or call 806.420.0215. If it is an emergency, call 911. 

 

Additional Information

All vendors must adhere to any and all City of Amarillo and State of Texas regulations. It is your responsibility to know these guidelines and have all required permits by the event date.

First aid stations will be available on-site

Familiarize yourself with emergency exits and procedures

Insurance
All vendors are required to have their own general liability coverage. Visit Amarillo's insurance will not cover vendor liabilities.

Sidewalks
All street vendors ust keep sidewalks clear at all times. This allows stores to have space for their guests and for ADA compliance.
