Where more than imaginations run wild! The Amarillo Zoo is a place to share the wonders of the animal world with kids of all ages. The beautiful 15-acre site is located in Thompson Park, just north of downtown. The zoo is open 7 days a week from 9:30 am to 5 pm. It is closed New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Adults (13-61)- $4 Seniors (62 & up)-$3 Children (3-12)- $2 Under 2- Free
