Join us in making the Texas Route 66 Festival Finale a grand success! Visit Amarillo is looking for volunteers to help host the Texas Route 66 Festival Finale presented by ANB. 

As a volunteer, you will receive Visit Amarillo merch, a festival t-shirt, and access to the VIP area of the festival. Don't miss your chance to be part of the festival! 

Miss Texas Route 66 Pageant

Are you ready to channel your inner retro glam and strut your stuff on the iconic Route 66 stage? Don't miss your chance to be crowned the ultimate pinup queen at the Texas Route 66 Festival Finale Event Presented by ANB on June 15th!

Eligibility:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be available to participate in the pageant on June 15th, 2024
   

What to Expect:

• Showcase your unique style and personality in vintage-inspired attire.
• Strut your stuff on stage in front of a lively audience and esteemed judges.
• Compete for the coveted title of the 2024 Miss Texas Route 66 Pinup Winner and fabulous prizes!

Texas Route 66 Corn Dog Eating Contest

Be the next Texas Route 66 Corn Dog Eating Contest Winner! This exciting competition takes place on the mainstage of the Texas 66 Finale presented by Amarillo National Bank on June 15, 2024 

To participate, you must be 18 years of age and have a valid ID. The winner will receive a trophy and a cash prize of $500.

Eligibility:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid form of ID
   

What to Expect/Contest Rules:

• Contestants may not touch the corn dogs until the starting signal.
• Only the entire corn dogs eaten will be counted (an entire corn dog includes the sausage and cornbread wrap).
• Contestants will have 8 minutes to eat as many corn dogs as they can.
• When the 8-minute time limit is up, contestants may not put any additional corn dogs in their mouths.
• Partially eaten corn dogs will not be counted.
• In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by an "Eat Off."

Calling all locals, businesses, and enthusiasts of the Wild West and Route 66! Saddle up and get ready to ride the iconic Route 66 in style at the upcoming Amarillo Coors Cowboy Club Cattle Drive & Parade. This is your chance to be a part of a legendary event celebrating the spirit of the Old West right here in Amarillo on Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Join in on the fun with your Route 66-themed float or classic car during the Amarillo CCC Cattle Drive & Parade! Entry is free but we ask that you sign-up your float/cars. Entry deadline to follow.
