Baseball is back! Catch the Amarillo Sod Poodles in action all month long.
Spoil mom with quality time and shopping at Gals in the Garden (May 7), a Mother’s Day pop-up event featuring local makers and artisans at The Resplendent Garden from 11 AM - 4 PM. Join From 6th Collective for their Mother Like No Other Event and enjoy local pop-up vendors, shopping, and the grand opening of their Collective Canteen (May 7). Finish the day off at The Nat’s Mom’s and Mocktails Event (May 7). Want to take mom on a more leisurely outing? Head to the Route 66 Historic District for Mother's Day on the Mother Road. See all the fun sights, shops, and restaurants there are to enjoy in the Route 66 Historic District.

Jam out to live music! Starlight Ranch hosts Roger Creager (May 7), Read Southall Band (May 14), and Eli Young Band (May 21) in the month of May. Lovers of classical music will want to check out Rachmaninov, Rossini, and Strauss (May 27) at the Globe-News Center for the Performing Arts. Norteño music enthusiasts can enjoy live shows at La Hacineda Amarillo from artists like Los Alameños de la Sierra (May 14) and more.
Summer is (finally) here and with an abundance of outdoor adventures to be had in Amarillo, there’s something for everyone. Run, bike, or hike the trails at Palo Duro Canyon State Park, or take a stroll through the Amarillo Botanical Gardens. If camping isn’t really your thing, glamp with Palo Duro Glamping, conveniently located in the beautiful Palo Duro Canyon. For our adrenaline junkies, enjoy Humvee tours at the Palo Duro Creek Ranch or zip line across the canyon at Palo Duro Zip Line Adventure Park.
